Avalon's POV:
"Alright, team, we have a game next weekend, and I know it's short notice, so the new recruits need to step up," the coach says as we practice soccer.
Next weekend? That's close—we definitely need extra practice.
"This is your new strategy for the season," he says, tapping his clipboard. "I'll give you all a copy. Focus on your positions. Bryce, I need you to help Jesse with his defense as goalkeeper. I've seen your games, and we can use your skills."
"Yes, sir," Bryce nods.
"West, start them on drills to get those vacation muscles working. I want you waking up sore tomorrow if you haven't been training over break, especially you, Ricci," he says, looking at Luciano.
Luciano tends to relax during vacations instead of training.
