I waited for Taylor in my office. He talked to the council and told them that he will be there instead of me. They agreed but of course, they argued with him before agreeing.
He came and said, “I’m leaving Alpha. I’ll update you on everything soon.”
I nodded.
He walked towards the door, turned around, gave me his smirk that I always hate, and said, “Best of luck for the training alpha.”
I threw a paperweight at him but he closed the door fast and his laugh echoed throughout the hallway.
I sighed thinking about the training, how will I manage myself around her for so long? I don’t know what she must be thinking right now. I hope things won’t become awkward between us.
I reached the gym before her and the females there started staring at me. I cleared my throat, and
