I could hear one of them running after me. The ground shook as his paws scraped and pounded. I spared a glance behind me and it didn’t surprise me to see the large black wolf was the one that came. The brown one was still injured and wouldn’t be able to run. In no time at all, he was upon me. The worst part? He wasn’t even trying that hard to catch up to me. Like a predator playing with his food. He’s so big and so fast that he easily caught up. I didn't stop though even when I knew it was futile.
