The Lunar Alpha

Chapter 3

Derek's POV

"Help me Derek!!!" Abigail squealed but I could only laugh.

In no time Kevin lifted her and threw her on his shoulder while Abigail screamed at the top of her lungs. They have been such enemies since birth. They never really liked each other but I always have fun watching them.

"Kian! Please help me" she called for Kian who only gave Kevin a high-five.

" You people are nothing but pieces of s**t" Abigail said, hitting Kevin's ass.

We all sensed dad coming to the room so Kevin dropped Abigail.

"Ouch!!!" She rubbed her elbows when clearly she didn't get hurt. There she goes being the drama queen like always. Dad says she takes after mom in this.

But Abigail loved having dad around her even when she was in mom's womb. She would kick around and give mom a hard time whenever dad was away. So dad handed pack duties to Uncle Tyler and was with Mom till she gave birth to Abigail.

Mom named her Abigail. She said Abigail means a father's pride and Joy. But now mom only asks Moon Goddess why both her children look at Jaxon like their world and not her. Dad is quite the role model to not only Me and Abigail but Kevin and Kian too.

"Derek..." Dad called and I smiled hugging him.

He smiled and patted my back softly. Dad's embrace is my favorite place. I could live like this forever. I am always proud that I am the Alpha King Jaxon Malloy's son. I could live forever with that.

"There is something I need to talk to you guys about," he said looking at all four of us.

"It's finally the time you learn about humans too. Being a werewolf isn't superior. You should learn how to differentiate humans. You need to blend with them. You need to know their emotions, how they deal with everything. Being Descendants of Alpha King means you should also save the Human race by keeping rogues away from them," his voice was so calm.

"And what do we need to do for that?" Abigail asked, sitting beside dad.

"You will be attending Human School starting next week. Everything is done and you only have to shop for the things necessary for school." He said.

"But Uncle, one week is a little short time" Kian said but one look from dad.. "That's perfect Uncle Jaxon"

"But they are still too young, Jaxon!" There comes mom. I knew she was listening to the whole conversation.

"They are old enough for adventure Mia. Derek,Kevin and Kian are 15 already. Abigail is 13 and she can take care of herself. Moreover she has three guys to look after her till she blends in" Dad shrugged and he sounded more reasonable.

I am 3 years away from taking the Alpha position from dad. And I need to know how everything works.

"But ... But Jaxon...." Mom was cut off when dad started speaking

"You remember that we did study in school with humans right? I understand your Motherly insecurities but this is their life Mia. Just let them explore. Let us give them freedom to learn new things. Tyler likes the idea too. Everything will be fine just trust them" He held her shoulders and looked into her worried eyes.

Mom let out a long sigh and nodded. Abigail clapped her hands excitedly and hugged mom.

"Thank you Momma" she beamed.

"Take Elijah with you for shopping. And leave Oliver alone. I heard you guys are giving him a hard time. He is just a kid." Dad looked at Kevin and Kian.

Oliver is Uncle Elijah's son. He is five year old now. Kevin and Kian always end up making him cry by eating Oliver's chocolate rolls. These both are bullies in the pack but loved bullies. They know how to act accordingly. I wonder who will take up the Beta position when I become the Alpha.

"Alpha Jaxon!!" A guard bowed as soon as he entered the living room.

"What is it?" Dad's voice instantly changed and now his voice held the Alpha power.

"The prisoners escaped from the silver prison" he said, eyeing the wall behind dad out of respect.

"What???" Mom gasped.

"Ok kids. Take care. Mom and I have some business to do." Dad said and they left immediately without wasting a second.

Kevin and Kian let out their breath as soon as dad left. They love him but they are afraid of him at the same time.

"Who this prisoners might be?'' Abigail asked me.

"I don't know. But I heard many stories about them in pack. They say that they have been in silver prison since when Mom was pregnant" I shrugged.

But dad never really told us who they were. I only heard that they were two women. A witch and a traitor. Whenever I ask Dad about it he says that I have so much to do ahead and I'll know when time comes.

"Now... Let's get ready for the Human School" Kevin muttered.

" Does this also mean.. we get to flirt with girls?" Kian wiggled his eyebrows only to get smacked by Abigail.

"What?? Girls here only wait for their mate. So why not have some fun with human girls? Just fun.. no feelings involved" Kian said rubbing the back of his head.

"No! And if you do, I'll tell dad" Abigail stuck her tongue out while Kian rolled his eyes.

"I don't even know why I ended up with you three dumbasses. I miss Rose." Abigail sighed.

"Hey! The other day I heard mom and dad talk about Rose's visit. When is she coming?" Kian asked.

"Maybe this weekend." Abigail beamed.

Rose is her best friend and the only Daughter of Beta Aaron and Beta Female Betty from Dark Knight Pack , which is Uncle Nick's pack of course. But the Dark Knight Pack is now in a tough state because Uncle Nick didn't find his mate yet. He lost his hope but dad still reckoned him to wait.

"You ready guys? Alpha gave me the instructions. Let's go shopping'' Elijah yelled from the door and we all piled into his car.
