15. The Bloody Glass Palace

I took an hour’s rest in the stables just beside Maria even through the smell it was better than staying in one of the rooms in the palace. Aegir knows how tainted this whole place is. No matter how beautiful it is with the white stone walls and the glass windows that reflected the light like shimmering diamonds, it’s stained with blood.
It wasn’t long before I reach the throne room. High ceiling walls where it’s just a mosaic of glass. It’s hot to humans especially in the afternoon, but Draconi aren’t bothered by it. Another elitist architecture that I can’t begin to explain.
