Kurtis POV "Are you trying to distract me, baby girl?" I teased, pulling Lyra closer, feeling her warmth press against me as we lay on the couch, still basking in the afterglow of our first night in the new apartment. The soft candlelight filled the room, but it couldn’t match the heat and spark between us. Lyra grinned, her lips brushing against my neck as she whispered, "Maybe... is it working?" I chuckled, my hand sliding down her back. "Always." I kissed her gently, savoring the softness of her lips. "But I can’t stop thinking about something." She tilted her head, curiosity lighting up her eyes. "What’s that?" "Our wedding," I said, pulling back just enough to look into her eyes. "I’ve been planning it in my head. I want it to be the perfect celebration of us." Her smile widened
