Kurtis’s eyes twinkled with mischief as he came up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. “I’ve got a surprise for you,” he whispered in my ear, his warm breath sending shivers down my spine.
I leaned back into him, tilting my head to meet his gaze. “A surprise, huh? What are you up to, Kurtis?” I teased, loving the way he always managed to keep things exciting between us.
He grinned, pressing a kiss to my neck. “You’ll see. But you need to get dressed. Something comfortable but cute. We’re going on an adventure.”
