Chelsea POV Hunter, who had been shot in the leg, yelled "Chelsea" as he collapsed to the ground in agony. As I knelt by his side, I was terrified. I was shaking in horror, yet I was unable to look away from his predicament. What in the world was happening? William screamed as he kicked me, "Look at you two. It appears like you two are truly in love with each other huh! But too sad because I don't need that you two will ever remain forever, not when I am around, not when I am living. I started shaking out of dread since I knew he was terrible but I never imagined he could kill someone so quickly. Because of me, Hunter is currently hurt. Hunter screamed, "Stop it! f**k you! What the hell do you think you're doing?! Who the f**k are you? She's mine and you can't take her away from me. You already had enough!" By "I've had enough," what did he mean? Has there been a fight? He yelled back, "Oh, that one? I don't want her anymore. I'm already done with her. She's the one I want now." Hunter yelled, "No! You can't have her!" as he prepared to push back against him before once more being stopped, this time by the arm. What shall I do? I can't stand by and watch him kill Hunter on my behalf. Oh God, please help us. I spewed violently as he started to laugh, "murder me then. Just murder me. That's what you want right? You want me dead if you can't have me then just kill me because I will be the one to decide that I won't come with you. I will never come with you." I said. William was merely gawking in amazement as I hurriedly tore the dress' hem to tie his wound, but I had to take out the bullets first. I did this while tightly closing my eyes. He continued to hiss in anguish as I proceeded to his arm and did the same. He pointed the gun at me and said, "Oh, how harsh of you towards me my dear. Why are you like that? Don't you really like me? I can also give everything for you. Everything that you have in mind." Dear God! Will this be how I pass away? Not even a child to follow in my footsteps, I haven't even appreciated anything in life. My cheeks were streaming with tears as Hunter held my hand tightly. I'm pleading with you: "No! Don't hurt her. If you need anything, just let me know. Huh? Hunter's question caused my eyes to widen. I'm hearing him beg today for the first time since I got married to him. He said with a sneer, "Are you a fool. Did you not hear me earlier? I don't want anything, all I want is Chelsea." "Don't do this William please. No matter what you do, I will never be yours. I will never fell such thing towards you because you're a monster. Why just can't you let me be hall with Hunter. " I cried and closed my waiting for the worst to happen as the gun was being pointed at me but nothing happened instead I heard a loud thud and shut my eyes open to see the scene before me. This is real now, oh my god. A man jumped on William while he lay on the ground. Who the hell is he, you ask? Hunter cupped my cheeks and patted my back as I gave him a hug. Hunter yelled in a startled tone, "Franco?" The man said, "I'm sorry for being late," and he sat down on the couch. He commanded some enormous guys to enter and haul William away, telling them to "take him and make sure he suffers." Hunter asked, "What the... Why are you here?" Hunter remained silent and just stared at the Franco guy as he answered, "To save your ass of course dude." Do they know one another? " We may not get along, but that doesn't mean I want you dead—not when we are rivals, you understand." He spoke while lighting a cigarette. After what felt like an eternity, Hunter finally responded, "Thank you dude. I really appreciate it." "I still don't like your haughty ass, buddy, so let's take you to the hospital, not that it means we are suddenly buddies." As he stood to assist Aidan in standing, he said. "But Franco, how did you even know..." As we got into his car, he said, "That doesn't matter now, what matters most is that I was the one who saved you." He's actually been a godsend. ********** Two weeks have passed since the entire incident, Franco left after Hunter received treatment, and he is now OK. Because Hunter's father will take the issue further and Franco had promised to take care of William, we decided not to tell any of our family members about it. I hope he never returns. William was once my suitors. When I suddenly got married to Hunter, he also went to ruined my wedding but thanks god he was stop before he could even do anything. I didn't know he will come back again after a couple of months of not hearing anything from him. But a thought came towards me about what Hunter said earlier to William. He already took something. What does he means by it? Does Hunter knows William except for the fact that he was once my suitor? Does the two of them also had a history of fight? Too many thoughts were lingering within my mind but I shook my head. No, now isn't the right time to think about it. Hunter cried from downstairs, "Why aren't you dressed yet? Come on, were getting late." Yes, we will be having a family meal at his father's house, and my own family will be joining us. I combed my hair and put it in a ponytail, saying, "Just a second dear, Hunter. I'll be ready in a minute." "Are you done now?" We arrived at our destination after a peaceful, silent drive there. "Yes, I am. I'm good to go." I hugged my sister as soon as I saw her and said, "Tricia, I missed you so much." We all greeted each other before sitting down. Tricia told me tales of school, including how her buddy set up a broken chair for a teacher to sit in so that he may collapse because the teacher had s*****d her for not finishing her assignment. The funniest part was what they did to the principle after being caught sneaking out of class and performing hard labor. She and her companion chuckled as he instantly started dancing and shouting for aid after adding chilli pepper to the water he had stored to wash his face. Gosh! Who even thought to think of that? Now as I was giggling uncontrollably, the cook informed that the dinner was ready. Every room of the enormous, exquisite home exudes wealth; it truly does feel like heaven on Earth. Jeez! My father-in-law broke the stillness we had been maintaining over dinner when he spoke up. I choked on the eggs and pancakes I was eating and said, "Hunter, you know that I'm already old. I need someone that would take care of me and a grandchild is the one that I need. I don't want to die without seeing one." Oh no, I didn't anticipate that. I hesitantly drank from the glass of water Tricia handed me. Mom said, making my pulse race, "Yes, is there any grand children on the way?" Why didn't they let me eat quietly right away. Hunter was looking back at me when I turned to face him. Hunter lied and shrugged, "Actually, Chelsea and I were not able to talk about it." There asked out in unison, "What!." His father responded practically shrieking, "You got married for how many months now and you haven't talked anything about your plan to have babies, you got to be kidding me." "My sweet, we must see our grandchildren. We are not getting younger, you know." I pray that this is the end of the conversation since it is definitely making me tense, my dad added severely before returning his attention to his meal. Hunter was speechless, just like I was, and sat there sighing. This little Tricia was just smiling and saying, "I need nieces and nephews too," when I gave her a stern look. ... We kept eating till we were finished. What did they seek, that was an escape? Did they believe that we produce kids? There aren't any. I have a treat for both of you. Hunter's father spoke as everyone turned to look at him, including mine. He gave Hunter an envelope with a light smile, asking what surprise he might have in store for us. He started to read what was in the envelope as his expression changed. It made me confused and curious. What the hell is that envelope for?
