I fixed my gaze on Hunter, whose expression altered to one of surprise.
He asked his dad, "What's this Dad? Don't say that you already planned of this the moment you decided to come here for dinner?" before turning to me.
I was perplexed and inquired, "What is it?"
He said, "A honeymoon ticket."
After six months of marriage, a honeymoon ticket? This man has got to be kidding, right?
"What?" Unexpectedly, I just blurted it out.
"Even though it wasn't expected, none of you will be able to deny the present, so that's the end of the matter. Besides, it's for the two of you. If you say you won't go, I'll assume you two are having issues with one another. Please don't say you won't go, or I'll feel and think of something not good." He said. We both sigh and look at each other in silence.
Hunter said, "No, Dad. We are both grateful for your fantastic present, but don't you think this is overkill? I mean, what about the business?
He responded, "That's why you have a secretary and a personal assistant, so they can handle everything while you're not around." We are probably stuck, but that's actually a wonderful thing. being with Hunter for several enjoyable months.
I do, however, recall her secretary. Was Karina really her name? s**t! Suddenly, a sharp ache sliced through my chest.
I just want to hear positive news when you come back. My face turned scarlet, and my dad continued while my mother winked at me. my God! They'll never stop trying to make me look bad.
Tricia made a joke, saying, "How cute of you, big sister. Look mom, Chelsea is blushing." In an instant, I face-palmed myself, causing everyone to start laughing out loud.

Hunter POV
My pilot said, "Everything's ready, sir," as Chelsea and I hauled our bags toward the destination.
We boarded the jet as it prepared to take off, but as I glanced at her, I wondered whether she was scared of the aircraft.
I asked, "Something's wrong? Anything bothering you?"
She answered, fidgeting with her fingers, "No, it's just that... This is my first time riding a plane. I'm just a... tiny bit scared, that's all.
I indicated the chair beside me and she sat, saying, "You don't have to worry about anything else, Chelsea. As long as I'm here, I won't let anything happen to you." To console her, I encircled her with my hands and muttered.
"For a few months, it will just be me and you. Your parents won't be able to interrupt our tranquility, and I will have you to myself. We will have ourselves for the whole couple of months without anyone interrupting us so you better prepare yourself for me."
She blushed as a result of what I said, and I laughed. Chelsea quickly fell asleep once the plane took off.
Finally, the aircraft touched down.
I shook her up while we descended from the plane. "Wake up now sleepy head, we have landed. It's time for your beauty rest to stop. Let's go down now, shall we?"
I drew her cheeks and whispered, "Welcome to Paris, my love. I hope you'll love it here. I'm sure you'll do since I'm here with you. I will make sure we will spend our days here in happiness and full of love only."
John, my Dad's friend, gave me a bear hug and asked, "Hunter, how have you been doing my boy?"
When we released the hug, I questioned, "Uncle Josh, how have you been doing? It's been a while since the last time I saw you. You're looking good as always huh!"
"I'm alright, besides the fact that my bones are deteriorating. But looks who's talking, you're getting more and more handsome as always, no doubt you got yourself a wife. Didn't actually think you're gonna get married this soon." He laughed. " Oh wow! Who is this stunning woman next to you? If I'm not mistaken, she is your wife, am I right?" At a shy Chelsea, he smiled and asked.
I said, "You're right about that, Uncle Josh. Meet my wife, Chelsea Collins, wifey, and this is this dad's best friend Uncle Josh."
He embraced her and said, "What a lovely woman, you are my dear. You're glowing from afar. No wonder this lover boy besides you tied you already with him." He said and laughed. " Oh I'm sorry my dear that I wasn't able to come to your marriage due to a busy schedule in business." Chelsea grinned at him.
"It's okay, sir. It was actually just a civil wedding. It was fast but it's okay." Chelsea said.
Oh right, since it was dad's sudden decision, the wedding was held as civil and there were no other person witnessed our wedding except our both parents.
"I must admit, you have good taste; she is stunning."I smiled and returned his compliment.
"Now let's go; the driver is waiting for us. You must spend the night with me before you travel to the location that you have reserved for your honeymoon." He stated.
I responded, "After you, Uncle Josh," as he strode away.
I grabbed Chelsea and said, "Chelsea, let's go now." We started walking towards the car when someone called my name. We both turned to look at the person.
I hurried to hug her and smiled, "Nicole?"
She grinned and said, "Hunter, is this really you? Oh my god! I missed you so much!"
I embraced her once again and teased, "Yeah right, this is me now."
You've been ignoring me for almost a year, look who's talking. When someone stepped on her feet, she smacked my shoulder and we both started giggling.
Chelsea, f*ck that! I had no idea she was here. She looked at the two of us in surprise before focusing on Nicole's hands, which were around my shoulders.
Oh my God, she fled in tears and rage! What further damage have I done? This is not how I intended for our honey moon to begin!
I yelled, "Chelsea!" and followed her.
