Kabanata 6

"Are you being serious right now, human?"

I rolled my eyes at sinenyasan itong umupo sa harap ko.

"I have a name and it's Anastasia. So don't just stand there and sit here."

Nakasimangot na naglakad ito at padabog na umupo sa lapag.

"I will never forget this day, slave. I will punish you for making me sit on this dirty floor." He warned.

What the heck is wrong with him? He's acting like a girl every single time and that's freaking annoying.

He's annoying.

"Yeah right. Well, since you're also living here we need to have house rules." I said.

Walang emosyon lamang itong tumingin sa akin. He's looking at me like I have two heads or something.

"Are you expecting me to follow rules? Are you dumb or what?"

Sinamaan ko ito ng tingin at inayos ang dress na suot ko. I know that it will be hard to deal with this guy. I mean, he's hard-headed.

Such a pain in the ass.

"You don't have a choice so let's start! Since I don't know how to cook and I forbid anyone to go here from now on, we need to cook our food... and sadly I don't know how." I explained.

Bagot na tumingin ito sa'kin.

"Why are you looking at me?" He asked.

I smiled.

"It means you need to cook for both of us," I answered.

He laughed like a freaking king.

"I don't eat," he said.

What? He doesn't eat? How lonely is that? I mean, of course, they need to eat even though they are gods. What the f*ck is wrong with them? They're literally boring.

"Are you serious?"

Mas lalo itong tumawa at pinitik ang noo ko.

"Do you seriously believe that? Humans are gullible," maikling wika nito.

Nanlaki ang mata ko dahil sa sinabi nito.

This bastard!

"Damn you! Why are you lying, you stupid jerk!" I hissed.

"Tsk, you need some punishment, Rael." He seriously said.

What he's going to do? Is he going to push me on the cliff? Tsk, I'm not even scared. I died and then I met him, does he think that I'm scared?

I think nothing can scare me anymore.

"Anastasia and not Rael!" I shouted ngunit nagkibit-balikat lamang ito.

Hinilot ko ang sintido ko. I seriously don't know what to do. I'm used to being alone all day. I'm used to darkness and silence but right now he's here. Tila lumiwanag ang buong mansion. Para bang umingay ngayon na nandito ito and I hate it.

"Should I remind you that I'm a god and you should pay respect to me?"

"What are going to do?" I asked nang tumayo ito at hinila ako. "Hey!"

Hell, he's pulling me hard. Binuksan nito ang isa sa mga pintuan at muntik na kong mapatili ng bumungad sa amin ang isang lugar. It's scary and my eyes widened in shock when someone tries to pull me down there.

What the hell?

"W-hat place is this?" I whispered at mas hinigpitan ang yakap ka'y, Khaos na ngayon ay nakangisi.

Sh*t!

There are some scary creatures na gusto kaming hilahin pababa. There's also a sea but that's sea is like a sea of fire. This place is scary and creepy.

"Welcome to hell, do you want to have a tour?"

I gulped at nag-angat ng tingin dito. He's looking at me and right now, I can feel that his arms are the only safe place.

Is this how he show me that he has power?

"Are you serious? Sh*t!" Daing ko at mas hinigpitan ang kapit dito dahil may mga demonyong gustong abutin kami. "Khaos!"

Humalakhak ito at tinulak ako pababa. I shouted when he does that and I closed my eyes in fear.

I hate him! I freakinf hate him!

Nanginginig na tiningnan ko ang mga demonyo na unti-unting lumalapit sa akin.

"G-go away!"

I can feel fear again. It's funny how I don't feel scared when I died but right now I'm shivering in fear. It reminds me of the first day that I'm alone in the castle. No one is there, only darkness and my fear. I need to live before so I conquer that fear but right now, I can feel that fear again.

It's all because of, Khaos Gideon.

I hugged myself and closed my eyes. Waiting for them to get me. Waiting for my end. I didn't resist but instead accept my fate. He's right, I need to accept that in this lifetime, I'm unlucky.

I waited.

I waited for the demons to get me but no one came. I slowly opened my eyes and tears started to fell in my eyes when I looked at his black eyes.

Those deep black eyes make me feel safe.

He's staring deeply at me habang nakatayo sa harap ko. Nasa likod nito ang mga demonyo like they can't touch him.

He's like protecting me from them.

He's like shielding me from them.

"Are you scared?" He asked in a low voice.

I don't know but I nodded like a child. Yumuko ito upang magpantay muli ang mukha naming dalawa. He's wearing his famous smirk again but it seems gentle this time.

"Good, you should be scared. I am the god of darkness and destruction. I am the chaos itself and you should fear me." He whispered and dry my tears.

Inabot nito ang kamay sa akin. Walang pagdadalawang isip na tinanggap ko ang kamay nito. I hold his hand like there's no tomorrow. I hold his hands like my life depends on him. It's been year since I felt this kind of warmth again.

The feeling of being home.

The feeling of being safe.

He's right. I should fear him because he's a god while I'm just a useless human. Bakit ba kasi hindi ako marunong makinig? Maybe this trait is the reason why I died.

I can't do anything aside from hoping.

Hoping that he will give mercy to me.

"What do you mean?"

I heard Mikayla sighed on the other line.

"I don't know but your uncle, he called for an emergency meeting. He's saying that you're missing or something bad happens to you at pinagtatakapan ko lang daw 'yon. So please come here and kick his ass!"

Hindi ko inintindi ang huling sinabi nito. I end the call at saka ako huminga ng malalim.

That old man.

He knows something. How can he know that something bad happens to me? That evil old man, he's the one who wants to kill me. I'm not expecting that it will be like this but I guess I'm wrong. He can kill for power and money. I'm sure of that, he has a black soul and I'm sure that he's the one behind it.

I clenched my fist.

I'm going to kill him.

Yumuko ang lahat nang nakakakita sa'kin. Ang iba ay takot dahil sa aura na pinapakita ko.

Who wouldn't?

My face screams danger right now. I can't still believe that he will hire someone to kill me. I'm sure that it's him and no one can change my mind about that. I will punish him for doing that to me.

"Madam," saad ng nagbabantay sa pintuan.

I looked at him emotionless.

"Open the freaking door,"

Tumango ito at binuksan ang pintuan. Natigilan ang lahat ng makita ko. I smirked when I saw how shocked my uncle was. Para itong nakakita ng multo ng makita ko. Mikayla smiled when she sees me but I remained emotionless. It's time to show these people who's the real boss.

"Miss Knight!"

"What the hell is wrong with you, Archie?"

"Why are you always saying that something bad happens to, Miss Knight?

"Ladies and gentlemen, I present you our very own CEO. I already told you that she's just taking a rest, but you are all suspecting me." Mikayla said.

Naglakad ako at humarap sa mga ito.

"It's not amusing when someone is spreading lies, especially when it's about me." I coldly said.

Nagbulungan ang mga ito. Humarap ako sa uncle ko na ngayon ay gulat pa rin na nakatingin sa akin.

"Do you want my position, Mr. Knight?" I asked directly.

This is what he wants, he wants to be my enemy... then be it.

Napasinghap ang lahat dahil sa sinabi ko. He wants war then I will gladly give it to him. I already said that I love facing my fears and enemies. Does he want my position? Then he should get it and kill me again.

Tumikhim ito at tila hindi alam ang sasabihin.

"Wh-at are you sayi-ng, Anastasia." He answered.

Nang-iinsultong tumawa ko.

"Looks like you want it. You always called for an emergency meeting because you thought that something bad happens to me. Why are you always thinking that? Do you know something or did you do something?"

Lumunok ito and I almost laughed.

He's easy to read. This old man.

"Iha, I'm just concerned about my brother's legacy. Please don't take it like that."

Tumalim ang mata ko rito dahilan para magbaba ito ng tingin.

"Thank you for your concern but I don't need that. Even I'm not here I can assure you that this company will still be number one." Matigas na saad ko. "And one more thing, from now on I will monitor all your works. All the transactions and projects. I will study all of that at kapag nakakita ako ng butas na kahit maliit lang. You know what will happen to all of you."

After I said that ay dire-diretsong lumabas na ko. Hindi ko na inantay na sumagot pa ang mga ito. I hate snakes and traitors. At sa nakikita ko, I know some of them already create anomalies to my company.

"Bring all the documents that I need. To the past six years, all the projects and funds. Every transaction, bring all of that. Wala kang iiwanan, I don't want any failures so be sure to do your work."

Mabilis na tumango ang secretary ko at patakbong lumabas ng opisina. Pagkalabas nito ay s'yang pagpasok ni, Mikayla.

"What's with warnings and what is that? Everyone looks scared at bothered. Is there something wrong?" She asked.

Tsk, they should be scared.

I sighed at umupo sa swivel chair. Everything is wrong, this company had been a snake's lair. It's time for me to do some cleaning. I don't want their dirty bacteria in my kingdom.

"Don't mind it. I want you to do something for me."

Kumunot ang noo nito.

"What?"

"I want you to call, Detective Martinez again. Tell him that I want to talk to him."

Nanlaki ang mata nito at tila alam na ang balak kong mangyari.

"We're going to find, Dawn?" She asked.

"Not just Dawn but my parent's killer too. It's time for me to work on that case." I whispered. "I only have two months to do that, please tell him to do everything."

Her face softened and hug me.

"We will, we will find your brother and that killer. I will do everything, Asha." She answered.

Tumango ako at ngumiti.

I know that I will always count on, Mikayla. Just hold on Dawn.

I will come for you. Ate will get you.

Hindi ko hahayaang mawala ang lahat nang pinaghirapan ng mga magulang natin. You deserve to be here when I'm gone.

Pagod na pumasok ako sa bahay at hindi na nag-abalang buksan ang mga ilaw. Kumunot ang noo ko dahil sa tahimik ang buong paligid.

Where the hell is that crazy god?

Ibinaba ko ang bag ko sa couch at naglakad papunta sa kusina. Nakarinig ako ng ingay mula roon kaya mabilis akong naglakad papunta roon.

Nanlaki ang mata ko ng makita ang isang lalaking matipuno at nakahubad. He's cooking something but heck! I don't even know him!

"Who the hell are you?" Matapang na tanong ko.

Unti-unting lumingon ito sa akin at ngumiti ng makita ko.

"Ahm, I'm here to eat you?" He answered.

What?

"I have no time for your jokes, Mr. Again, who the hell are you?"

Tumawa ito dahil sa sinabi ko.

"He's right, you are feisty."

Wait? Does he know the crazy god?

"I don't care who you are but can you leave? You are a stranger to me." Kalmadong utos ko.

Ngumisi ito at pinatay ang stove. Humarap ito sa akin at manghang tiningnan ako.

"You are not gonna freak out?" He asked.

"Why would I?" Naguguluhang tanong ko.

"Wow, girls are screaming when they see me. Well, I'm completely naked and you are a girl."

I rolled my eyes.

Tsk, who the hell does he think he is? I don't give a care if he's naked or dead. I don't give a care if I can see anything or what, I only care about my house.

"The hell I care about your naked body? I only care about my house, you are a stranger and you are cooking in my house."

Umiling ito at manghang nagsalita.

"It's because humans used to scream because they think I'm a pervert." He said.

"And so? It's not my concern anymore," I hissed.

He grins.

"Oh, I think you will be a good toy!"

What the hell?

"What? Do you want to die?"

"You can't kill me, Miss Knight."

Does he also know me? Damn, who is he?

"Tsk, I have no time arguing with you. I'm starving, what did you cook?" I asked and shrugged my shoulders.

He was about to say something when someone kicks the door of the kitchen.

"You are still here?" Khaos asked the guy.

Tsk, so I'm freaking right! He knows this weird guy and the nerve na magdala ng bisita. He's really acting like a king.

"Dude! She's weird!" Saad nito ka'y, Khaos.

Bumaling sa akin ang tingin ni Khaos at pagkatapos ay bumalik sa kasamang lalaki.

"Hell, you are naked and she sees you?" Tanong nito.

The weird naked guy just nodded and smiled.

"She doesn't even care, she even asked me if she can eat the food I cooked."

Khaos cussed.

"Damn, get the dress before I cut your useless d*ck!"
