Elijah Mayah’s shenanigans aside, the team began checking out our options for going forward with the walk-through. From the sitting room, there was a door that opened to the right into an office, and one to the left that led into the kitchen. Straight ahead there was a long dark hallway. I flicked on the lights, but even that did not dispel the feeling of gloom in the corridor. That was exactly the vibe I was looking for. Doing due diligence, we checked out the kitchen first.
