Elizabeth’s Pov
I was passed out for 5 hours straight and when I woke up my mother was a mess. She was very scared and crying her eyes out. Apparently the spell that I had performed was too strong to be done by a weak hybrid like me. She said that I should’ve told her that I was attempting to perform the spell and she would have helped me if I had told her. I was just scared of all the questions she was going to ask if I ever told her I was slowing my development and that the spell I really wanted was one to break a mate bond.
“So tell me Elizabeth, did you find your mate? What is happening to you, I don’t understand anything that you are doing” she asked as she handed me a glass of water, I was extremely parched
