Ripe And Tender Age

ISABELLE'S POV
“Please let me stay, I won’t be any trouble, I’ll even agree to be your maid or even a slave....if you kick me out now where will I go. I will become a rogue and I will be hunted for the rest of my life, that’s if I don’t die the moment you kick m e out” I begged the new Alpha as his bodyguards carried me and my bags out of the gate. I sobbed but my heart breaking sobs went unheard and no one paid any attention to my pleas. For eighteen years now, all I had known was this castle as my home, it was my home with my parents, but my father’s Beta, was too greedy to let me rule after my parents were killed (probably by him) all because I was a female, but that wasn’t the worst of it, he kicked me out because he didn’t want me to grow up and challenge him. God forbid a female hybrid think she is worthy of the throne of the northern pack, no woman had a place to rule there.
But now I was officially a rogue, with no family, no parents and no pack to have my back and protect me.
Despite all this however I was still determined to make it. I was determined to forget my past; I was shunned and hated for being a hybrid. But now I was going to camouflage myself amongst the humans, they were the only beings that I could fit in with now...

22 YEARS LATER...
Elizabeth’s POV
“I still don’t understand why we had to move” I whined for the millionth time as we unloaded the truck and carried the box in our new house.
My mother the genius thought it was a good idea for us to move back into her home town after my 16th birthday. My 16th was quite and event, I discovered I was a wolf and turned for the first time. To make matters worse, my mother told me I wasn’t only a wolf but I was also part of the witch clan, so the surprises were not going to end there, my wolf had fully matured but the witch part of me hadn’t matured yet.
“We already went over this Lizzy, now got put these in your room” she snapped, and I rolled my eyes.
I literally dragged myself to my new bedroom to drop the boxes and start organising everything. Moving was exhausting, which was why I hated it a lot. My mom was extremely excited about being here and that confused me because if she loved it so much here, why did she move from here in the first place.
The following day my mother took me to all the places she used to love as a child, I could see how happy she was to be back here although she had always refused to tell me the reason for leaving in the first place. I never wanted to press the matter because I could tell it has something to do with the death of her parents.
After a long day of touring the town, my mother finally decided she was hungry enough for us to sit and have some lunch.
My mom suggested we eat out at what used to be her favourite restaurant and when we got there we both ordered burgers and fries. Their burgers were nothing like the burgers I was used to in the big City, but they were decent.
“Isabelle it’s so lovely to see you again after so many years” said the pleasant old lady who owned the place
“Thank you Mrs Olsen, it is a pleasure to be back here” my mum responded warmly “this is my daughter Elizabeth” she introduced me
“Oh hello Elizabeth” the woman turned to me with a warm and welcoming smile
“Hello, how are you?” I greeted back with a smile of my own
“I am very fine thank you for asking, I see you have your mother’s manners” she said and I smiled and looked at my mum
“How old are you Elizabeth?’ she asked
“Oh am 16” I said sweetly
“Oh 16 such a tender and ripe age” she said, tender and ripe for what I wondered
“When are you turning 17?” she asked, what did it matter?
“In a few months, two months to be exact” I said, looking at my mum in an attempt to show her I was uncomfortable with this conversation.
“Talk about a weird encounter” I mumbled as the old lady walked away
“Hey...be nice” my mother snapped at me and I laughed.
After we were done eating we continued touring the town and then we went to check out the school that my mother had me enrolled in. It was a beautiful school and lucky for us they allowed us to tour the school. Apparently they encouraged new students to tour the school before they started attending classes, the reason for this was that the school was too big and students normally got lost.
While we were there, they gave me all the study material that I needed and then after that they showed me where my locker was. I was happy to be doing this with my mum, it made the whole experience a little easier for me. I was well known for not being very fond of change, so it was nice to have my mum help me adjust.
Friends were not much of a concern to me because, in my old school I didn’t really have any friends. I just hated the thought of a fresh start because that meant, new bullies (not that I was ever a victim but I just hated the fact that they even tried bullying me), new cheerleading squad that thought looks were everything, new cute boy that every girl wants (excepts for me, I was way too smart to fall for that crap) and new popular girls that went out of their way to make other girls feel like they were nothing.

The rest of my weekend in my new hometown was very eventless. I spent most of my time indoors and watching Netflix. My mum knew me well enough to know that I loved quiet neighbourhoods, so our house was located in quietest and classiest part of town. My mother sure did have money to spend it was like she had a point to prove. My father had left her a huge lump sum of money and she was using it to fund our lavish lifestyle.
But you could never tell because I loved the simple things in life and lived such a simple life, I drove and convertible mini cooper and my mum drove a mommy car even though I was old enough to drive myself around.
The next morning after the weekend I was woken up by my mom as she was on her way out to her new office. My mum owned her own real estate company and that made it easy for her to work from anywhere, which was how she managed to land us 3 bedrooms with bathrooms inside, a lake for a backyard, a whole garden that looked like a park our house even had a music room which I intended to turn into my art studio soon enough.
I woke up and got ready as fast as I could because I was already running a bit late. I put on my black jeans, a black t-shirt and my black leather jacket. I was into the whole biker chick look and I always thought it made me look cool. But no matter how hard i tried to convince my mum to get me a bike she never did, she said she didn’t like them because they were too dangerous.
After I was done with getting ready I ran downstairs to grab my lunch and an apple for breakfast.
When I got to school the parking lot was already packed with student cars while other students were just pulling in like me. I parked my car at the far end of the parking lot and made my way to my first class. The class was half empty, other students were still on their way while others were probably still deciding whether or not to attend the class.
I took my seat at the back of the class and I noticed that the rest of the students that were already in class were looking at me funny. You know the kind of look you get from people when you do something that they don’t agree with.
A few minutes later the students started pouring into the class and the once empty room was filled with chatter. I sat in my seat and observed everyone who had come in silence and it was clear to me that I wouldn’t have a single friend in this class; no one even noticed my presence.
“um you are in my seat” I heard a small voice say next to me and when I looked up I knew I had just met the mean girl and worst of it I was in her seat. What a great way to attract attention to myself on the very first day of school.
Now all those stink eyes I had received began to make sense...
“Oh, my bad” I said getting up and sitting on the chair next to hers and if looks could kill, I would have died at that very moment.
“That’s Liam’s seat” she said as if that was supposed to be general knowledge for me while giving me a cold look and I let out an exasperated sign.
