I grab my fathers hand and clutch it tightly pulling him into my embrace. “Please, please get up we are all lost if he wins” I desperately whisper to him. Tears flowing freely from me onto him. I feel his gentle touch on my cheek “my child look at me” he requests softly, I meet his love filled gaze.
