June was sitting on his bed reading a book when his phone rang. He reached for it and saw that it was Sirius.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Pup what are you doing?"
June rolled on his bed and looked up his ceiling, "I am about to sleep."
"Pup, about tomorrow..."
June sighed.
He had heard the news. A group of vampires were spotted at the outskirts of their clan's city. The vampires had already killed five army officers guarding the borders.
Alphas who were of age had to go and guard the borders of the city and fight the vampires if required. Sirius being the future leader of their clan was required to go.
"It's okay, I saw you in the news," June said, the news had showed a short clip of all the Alphas who were preparing to leave to the borders tomorrow.
"I was looking forward for the weekend to come so we can go out," Sirius muttered from the other the line.
"Just come back alive from the war, I will just be here waiting for you," June assured.
Sirius laughed softly, his voice was low and deep.
"Won't you kiss me goodbye, pup?"
June froze at his words and made a humming noise, telling Sirius he was thinking about it.
"Not really," he said, Sirius scoffed and June added, "Just don't die."
"I won't," Sirius promised.
They hung up the phone and Sirius flopped down on his bed.
Stupid leeches.
Sirius was mad that the vampires had choose this month to make trouble. They could have come a week or month later. He could have gladly fought with them then and wouldn't miss his date with June.
"Life is so unfair!" Sirius groaned as he flapped his arms and hit his pillow.
There was a knock on his apartment door. Sirius frowned not expecting any visitor this late at night. He sniffed the air but the other person had hid their smell.
Sirius walked towards the door, with a alert mind, he was ready to fight whoever had came. He tried to look through the peek hole but the person had covered it. The camera was also covered.
He frowned and slowly reached for the sliver arrow by the drawer beside his and pulled open the door.
To his surprise he saw June smiling at him.
"Hey," June said, his eyes dropped on the sliver arrow which Sirius quickly hid behind his back.
"Why are you here, pup?" Sirius asked.
June smiled as he invited himself in and closed the door behind him.
He and Sirius were so close that they could feel each other's body heat, Sirius didn't move away from June instead walked closer and trapped June against the door.
"Tell me," Sirius said.
"I came to kiss you goodbye," June murmured.
"You are not June," Sirius snarled. He quickly wrapped his fingers around the imposter's neck tightly.
"You are the one who bugged my phone," Sirius hissed and pressed the tip of the sliver arrow against the imposter's throat.
The imposter coughed before changing their shape and revealed who the person was.
Sirius immediately stepped away and frowned.
Hailey gasped for breath and slide down the floor, coughing.
"What are you doing here?" Sirius demanded. He had heard of Hailey's special abilities, every werewolf had one but she was the last person he had expected to come across today.
Hailey couldn't believe her plan did not work, she had planned to trick Sirius into sleeping with her. She had no idea what came over her, all this week the realisation that she was in love with Sirius but Sirius had his eyes for someone else pushed her into this.
She used to have more self-respect than this but it was all forgotten when Sirius was involved.
However, she was prepared, if the plan to seduce Sirius failed.
She smirked at Sirius while rubbing her sore throat, "How was my latest trick?"
Sirius glowered at Hailey before squatting down in front of her.
He looked her dead in the eyes.
"It was cheap."
Hailey just smiled.
"I knew something was wrong when I couldn't smell anything," Sirius said and got up, he further continued, "June can't hide his smell, he has been taking private lesson from me for that but it has only been two days and he is no good at it."
Hailey gritted her teeth and sneered, "You have chose quite a useless lover this time."
Sirius scoffed, "Useless? This time?"

"Feng, June is the only person I have been interested in. And he is not useless, he is so much more then you can ever fanthom."
He gave Hailey a blank look.
"Get out of my apartment."
Hailey stood up and flipped her hair.
"You know, your father will never approve of you marrying a male omega," she sneered, "The best and only option you have is me!"
Sirius scoffed, "If you think my father is an ancient strict man who has an obsession with stuffs like that, then you are wrong. He has taught me to be an open minded man and fight for the rights of those who deserve, like any of us elites. It's you who have amazing parents and yet let the society shape your thoughts and make you discriminate those who are weaker or different than you! Hailey Feng, I will repeat myself for the last time, get the f**k out of my sight!"
Hailey gave Sirius a last sneer and harshly opened the door and slammed it loudly. Her boots stomped loudly on the hallway before fading away.
Sirius stared at the door for a long time before slowly locking it and heading towards his room.
He slowly took in what had just happened and frowned. Sirius always thought Hailey hated him. He didn't expect her to be so—
He shook away those thoughts, she said it's a trick, it must be that.
His phone vibrated against his pocket taking him away from the thoughts of Hailey's odd behaviour.
The light of his phone screen shone on his face as Sirius unlocked his phone and saw it was a text from June. The real June this time.
Baby Pup : Your good bye kiss.
Under the text was a picture of June pluckering his lips at the camera. Sirius immediately grinned.
"Oh, pup." He muttered, as he rubbed his thumb over the screen, looking at June's photo with a fond look.
