Chapter-14
Both Theo and Damien are snapped awake when a nurse comes and informs them that his baby brother is off life support and they can see him if they want to, both of them quickly agree and when Theo turns around to inform Des of the news he finds him asleep the same way with Eva’s head on his shoulders and they decide not to wake them.
They are lead to a nursery with so many tiny babies sleeping peacefully, a nurse brings out a bundle of blankets from the room and Theo’s breath catches as she realizes she is finally going to see him. The nurse asks whether Damien can hold him and Damien nods quickly and the nurse slowly places the blanket in his arms.
