Chapter 32 My phone beeped at me as I got back to my desk, and I saw that I had a text message from Bill Barnar. It listed an address and a time, presumably for my meeting with his contact in the underground. It also included the message DON’T EVER COME BACK. I put my phone down quickly when I saw Duffy, who pulled up a chair and sat down across from me. “We need to clear the air,” he said. “You’re right,” I answered. “But not right now.
