Callum “Where were you?” I asked Conrad as he came through the front door. “Oh…hey…I was with the folks,” he said as he came over to where I was seated on the living room couch. He held out a container and I accepted. “What’s this?” “Dinner,” he said as he flopped down next to me. “Where were you?” “Working,” I said distractedly as I pulled off the lid. “Yum,” I set the container on the coffee table and hurried to the kitchen to get a fork. When I got back, Conrad was channel hopping. “I was waiting for that mystery to start,” I pointed out as I started to eat. “Ok,” he said as he settled on the right channel. “So…how is everyone?” I asked.
