Conrad I was tired. Exhausted, even. I slowly dragged my feet up the steps and into the house. It was quiet, deathly quiet, but I wasn’t worried about it. I knew Callum was probably still working, but it was late. I headed straight for the kitchen but suddenly I just didn’t feel like cooking. I was hungry, tired, and dirty. I decided that maybe I should head over to our parent's place. With that decision made, I took my time as I headed back outside to my truck.
