(Aiden POV)
"How is she?" Alan asked as I entered his office.
"She is feeling a lot better. She was tired so I told her to sleep" I said as he nodded.
"And you?" Winter asked as I smiled.
"I am alright. She is awake and she started to warm up to me. I couldn’t be happier" I said as she smiled and nodded.
It's been a day since she was awake. Yea she flinches and jumps in fright at times, but she is getting comfortable to me as time passes.
"Aiden. Winter has something to say" Alan said as I looked at Winter confused.
"What is it" I asked as she smiled at me.
"It will be hard for you to believe and I don't know if it's just my head playing or not. But think she is not a werewolf. At least not a werewolf alone" Winter said as my eyes widen.
"What? What are you saying?" I asked confused and concerned for my mate.
"Winter thinks that she might be a hybrid or something," Alan said as he sat on his chair. He showed me to the chair in front of him and I nodded before sitting on it.
He then pulled Winter to his lap and nodded her to continue.
"Aiden. When we both were in capture. Something happened" she said as I crunched my eyebrow and looked at her.
(Winter's POV)
Everything I saw was still clear in front of my eyes. I clearly remember both her eyes glow bright gold as she rose in the air.
The way the atmosphere turned tense- how powerful her voice was- her change in attitude.
I looked at Aiden and took a deep breath.
(let me tell you what happened then)
(Flashback)
"Enjoy your stay," the man said as he threw me to a room.
I clenched my teeth in pain and looked around the jail. The room was small with a single yellow light hanging from the ceiling.
There was a bed with a broken leg and no mattress on the left side.
With pain I moved myself to the bed and sat on it. It makes a squeaking sound making me cringe. A sudden whimper echoed in the room making my eyes widen.
I shot up from the bed and looked around in fear.
That’s when I saw two legs behind the bed.
I slowly walked my way to the place and gasped as I saw a girl. She was curled up on the floor; her eyes squeezed shut and shaking with fear.
"Are you alright?!" I asked shocked as I ran to her. She quickly opened her eyes and sat up before looking at me. She whimpered and moved back to the further corner.
The first thing that captivated me was her tear-filled oddly one silver and one blue eye.
"Please... Please don’t hurt me" she cried breaking my heart.
"I won’t hurt you..." I said taking a step forward. But she whimpered and leaned back making me stop in my spot.
"Are you alright?" she asked as I tilt my head in confusion.
She didn’t speak but only pointed at the wound on my stomach.
I shook my head and sighed before giving a small smile. I then lifted my b****y shirt with much pain and cringed at a nail marked wound.
"I guess I’m not," I said starting to find myself hard to breathe.
"My name is Winter. What is yours?" I asked taking slowly sitting down in the bed.
I wanted to sit on the floor next to her but I don’t think it will be good for my wound.
She whimpered and shook her head with tears flowing from her eyes.
"Do you know how long you have been here?" I asked.
"I don’t know... Since I was 8 I guess. I heard them talk about me been 8 years old or something. I can’t remember." she said as I looked at her with sadness.
"I promise we will get out of here," I said as she stared at me void.
"I don’t know. There are a lot of half-animal men around" she said making my eyes widen.
"Are you a human?" I asked as I looked at her.
"I... I am not. I am one of them. I don’t know what to do. Some days ago I suddenly turned into one of them!" she said as she started to cry.
"Please don’t cry. It’s ok. You’re not a bad person because of it. You are called a werewolf" I said as she looked at me with her mysterious eyes.
"Are you like me?" she asked as I shook my head.
"No. But my boyfriend is. And he is a good person" I said as she wiped her tears and look at me.
My heart broke as I look at the person in front of me. She was so weak and fragile.
She said she shifted into a wolf not a few days ago. That means she has just turned 18.
She looks so weak and fragile. She has tanned skin but it was filled with wounds and marking and she only wearing a very thin white dirtied shirt.
Her light brown hair was curly and long and reached till her hip.
My eyes widen as they landed on the hickeys in her neck.
Is she...
Oh my god.
The girl doesn’t even have a name. And she is being r***d.
I clenched my stomach at the burning pain. I am sure it will get infected but there is no way I could clean it.
Suddenly the door opened alerting both of us.
The girl whimpered and moved back as the man grinned at her.
“Well well, princess. Your boss wants you to join him in bed” The man said as she whimpered.
My eyes widen as he went and grab hold of the girl chair making her scream.
“What are you doing!? Leave her alone!” I shouted and ran to them despite the burning pain.
“Aw Is the Luna acting all brave again?” he asked as he laughed and pushed me away.
He started to drag the girl away and I looked around trying to find something to use as a weapon.
A saw a steel plate filled with some disgusting food. Without even wasting time I took the plate in my hand and slammed it at the man’s head.
“Urgh!!!” the man groaned in pain before he turned to me with his bright red eyes.
“You b***h!” he growled as he lashed on me.
But before he attacked me a hand pushed him away.
“I have told you to bring her and not to hurt the Luna” Luke growled at the man before kicking him in the groin.
“Stupid rouge. Listen to what I say” he said before turning to me.
“You are mine to hurt,” he said as he grabbed me by the cheek with a sadist grin.
“But for now,” he said before he turned to the girl.
“The feisty one today,” he said as he grabbed the girl by the hair.
“No! No!” she started to trash and kicks him. But he only smirked before slapping her in the face.
“Behave, b***h,” he said as she whimpered and looked at him.
“Good girl,” he said before he threw her over the shoulder and grinned at me.
“Don’t worry, You will get to sleep with me tomorrow. But today I need to punish and teach her a good listen” he said as he took the girl out before locking the door.
The whole night I cried and tried to shut out the screams and begging of the poor girl who was being r***d by the man.
