(Aiden POV)
"Once again overwhelming power. Please take note that she is weak and no matter what try to decrease her anxiety level" Dr. Mike said as I sighed and nodded.
"I will be careful about that," I said as he nods and smiled before walking out.
I went and sat on the chair next to her bed rubbing my aching head.
What I saw was not imagination. It was so strange. I felt drawn to it. The power her eyes held was not something ordinary.
I looked at my sleeping Amor and gave out another sigh.
She looks so skinny.
"Don't worry, my beautiful Amor. Now that you are with me I will take care of you." I said as I ran my hand through her long hair. I took her hand and smiled kissing it.
"I promise," I said as I lay my head on the bed and put her hand on top of mine. Sparks filled my body making me sigh in content.
"You do?" a small sweet voice rose as I got up shocked.
"You're awake!" I said as she flinched and move back.
"No no. Don't worry. I won't hurt you" I said as she stared at me.
"Aiden, right?" she said as I smiled and nodded. My name sounds so good coming from her mouth.
"Are you hungry?" I asked as her eyes widen. I watched as her face turned to that of fear.
"Amor?" I called but she sat up and moved back.
"I'm not hungry. Please don't hurt me" she said as I looked at her shocked.
"I'm sorry I stole the food. I was hungry. I won't do it again, I promise" she said as I stood up.
"Amor, don't worry. I will never hurt you" I said but she kept moving back. She was breathing fast and deeply as though she couldn’t take in air.
"s**t! Calm down! You're having a panic attack!" I said as I took a step to her.
But she started to cry and shout even more.
"Please calm down! Please" I said as I got on my knees.
I have no idea what to do but I just want her to know I am not a threat. She was wheezing and looking at me cautiously.
"I promise, I won't hurt you," I said as she kept staring.
"Please trust me. Please." I said and she relaxed a bit. I don't know if it's because of what I am saying but I just continued.
"I promise I won't hurt you. Please look at me. Do I look like I will hurt you?" I asked as her eyes met mine.
Her eyes suddenly softened and she started to relax a bit more.
"That's it. Good girl. Breathe slowly. I will not hurt you" I said each word slowly so that it sinks in her.
I continued talking to her for another 15 minutes before she completely calms down. I slowly raised my hand to which she tensed. I paused and gave a small smile at her before extending it to her.
"Please trust me," I said as she stared at my hand. I waited for another 10 minutes before she slowly extended her hand.
She looked into my eyes for a moment and I smiled encouraging her.
I felt sparks as her fingers touched mine. It was so strong and I know she is feeling the same.
"Mate," she said as I nodded.
"Yes," I said as she looked at my eyes and slowly nodded.
"Mate" she repeated as my heart skips a beat.
"She is awake!" Winter's voice suddenly echoed as my Amor took her hand from mine.
"Winter!" she shouted happily.
"Oh my god! You are alright!" she said as she ran to us.
"Winter. You are ok?" my Amor asked as the other nods and smile.
"I am," Winter replied as my Amor touched Winter's hair confused.
"You look different," she said as Winter laughed.
"Yes. Well, 3 years do a lot to you" Winter laughs as my Amor's eyes widen.
"3 years?" she asked shocked as she looked at me.
"Yes. You were in a coma" I said as she looked at me confused.
"What is that?" she asked as I looked at her in sadness.
"that means you are asleep for 3 years. You didn't wake up" I said as I put my hand on top of her. Sparks flew from our touch and I internally sighed when she didn't flinch or take her hand away.
"Will I go into comma again?" she asked as I smiled and shook my head.
"Never. I will make sure you never go into one." I said as she stared at me.
"Yes. Aiden will make sure you will not get into a comma. With proper food and a few precautions, you will be healthy as ever" the doctor said waking in with Alan.
My Amor's eyes widen before I tried to move behind me.
"Don't be afraid. They won't hurt" I say but she still looked tense. I frowned and looked at them not knowing what to do.
"Hey" winter called my Amor. "This is Alan. My mate. I told you about him right. He will not hurt you" Winter said as my Amor nodded and looked at Alan.
"Hello," she said as Alan smiled.
"Hello" he replied in a soft tone.
"I too promise I will not hurt. Can I check your vitals?" Dr. Mike said in a calm voice as my Amor looked at me. I smiled and nodded as he sighed and looked at Dr. Mike.
"Ok," she said as the doctor walked to her.
He did a quick check-up on her and she was tensed the entire time.
"You did well," I said as she gave a small smile.
"You know, we need to find you a name. It's difficult to call you when you don't have one" Winter said as I nod.
"I have thought of that too. She needs a name" I agreed with her.
"What name do you like?" Winter asked my Amor as frowned so cutely.
"I... I don't know" she said as she pouts.
I smiled and put a hand on her head as she looks at me.
"Don't worry. We will find the perfect one for you" I said as she smiled at me.
A fearless happy and pleasing smile.
