(Aiden POV)
I walked into the room and smiled at the sleeping beauty on my bed.
"Good morning, beautiful," I said as I went to her. I kissed her forehead, letting my lips linger a few minutes on her forehead.
"Today marks our three year anniversary you know?" I said as I opened the curtain letting the light flow into the room.
I sigh and I look at my Amor who lay on the bed with no movement except her meeting.
Today is the day I hate and love at the same time. Today is the first day I lay my eyes on my beautiful Amor. But today is also the day she went into a comma.
I still remember how she looked at me in fear. She thought I will hurt her like the other men. She was weak and covered in bruises everywhere. Her arms and legs were chained to the wall.
Her mysterious eyes held fear and confusion.
"You ready?" I heard a familiar voice as I turned and smiled.
"Good morning, Winter," I said to my best friend as she smiled and nodded.
"Let's go," I said as I once again kissed my Amor's forehead and walked out.
I found my Amor when I went on a mission to save Winter from the rouges. My poor Amor has been a prisoner under those rouges ever since she was a child. She doesn't even know her name, for Christ's sake!
For now, I live with Winter and her werewolf mate, Alan. My Amor needed the medical treatment and so this was the most suitable.
I am working as a professional dance trainer for a year now. It has been my passion since I was young. Dance is the way I try to forget my miseries. I could dance and express how I feel. It makes me feel free.
Winter used to be my dance partner but now she is 2 months pregnant so she was restricted by Riley to take a break. But today is going to come with me so she could help prepare the students for the premier dance show held in a month.
"Are you ok?" Winter asked as I smiled. She sighed and shook her head looking away.
She knew I was far from ok. She knew I will never be ok when my Amor is in such a stage.
The day went by in a blur. I groaned as I massaged my aching shoulders.
"It's hard training them if they don't have passion" I grumbled as Winter laughed.
"Tone down on them a little. You were being a bit too harsh" she said as I glared at her.
"They think dance is a joke. If they don't take it up seriously, they will make a fool of them in the premier. They are so out of sync!" I said throwing my hand in the air out of frustration.
Winter sighed as I looked at her even more annoyed.
"You have been so disturbed today. More disturbed than other days" she said as I sighed.
"I don't know. I feel something inside me. I keep getting a feeling. Like something is going to happen" I said as she looked at me worried.
She didn't respond as she nodded and looked at me with pity.
Another thing I hate.
Ever since the incident, everyone who knows looks at me with nothing but pity. They always try their hard to engage and talk to me. Make sure I am never alone.
I know they are trying their best to make me feel better but it irritates me to the point I lash out many times.
Once we reach the home, I wanted to go straight to my amor but Alan called me to the office.
"Hey," I said as I entered his office.
"Aiden. We have another attack on the east border. We need to go there fast" He said as I nod. I used my magic and transported us to the place.
I covered my nose as a disgusting smell filled my nose.
There was a rouge on the ground dead. On the other side, the injured wolves were being treated.
"What is the report?" Alan asked his beta, Dylan.
"There were 6 rouges as per the statement of the guards. They were taken in by surprise. We managed to kill one rouge and take another as a prisoner but the others escaped." He said as Alan nods.
"And what about the warriors?" I asked as both of them looked at me.
"4 warriors were on duty. We only have injuries and no deaths. 2 serious and was immediately taken to the infirmary." Dylan said as I nod.
"We are getting attacks more and more frequent," I said as they nodded in agreement.
"Increase the patrol. Tell everyone to keep high alert" Alan ordered to his beta as the latter nodded.
I sighed as I went and looked at the disgusting rouges. It seems like it has been killed by the bite in the neck.
We have been having rouge attacks ever since we found my Amor. They all attack from different borders and we had to build up our defense.
All pack members are restricted from going out the border after night 7 without the consent of the Alpha.
On every attack, we catch a rouge to interrogate and find the purpose of their attack but none tells us. If ever they are close to telling us the reason for the attack, they suddenly choke up on their own blood and die.
But deep down I feel like the reason behind the constant attack is my Amor.
"Aiden!" Alan's voice suddenly echoed making me snap my head to him.
His eyes held worry as he grabbed my hand.
"We need to go now! Your mate!" he said as my eyes widen.
I didn't even bother to hear what happened before I used my magic to transport both of us to her room.
Reaching the room I let out a gasp as I looked around at the mess. The bedsheet and pillow were thrown to the ground and so were the things on the table.
The chair was thrown to the door and had a broken leg.
"Where is she?" I whispered looking around the room frantically.
"Come on!" Alan said as he grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of the room.
We walked down the stairs and I could hear shouts and ruckus.
Entering the living room, my eyes widen as I saw my Amor.
She was standing on top of the table with a lamp in her hand. The pack members all surrounded and tried to calm down her but she kept swinging the lamp around trying to hit them.
The table she was standing on swing vigorously as she moved and tried to hit anyone who took a step towards her.
"What are you looking at?! Calm her down!" Alan shouted.
My eyes widen as I saw that he had already joined with his members.
I walked forward and tried to gain her attention but it was hard since I don't know her name.
But she suddenly stopped and raised her head and took a sniff. Her head quickly snapped to my direction and I felt my heart skip beats.
A pair of eyes, unique in color, stared into my green ones and I felt everything around me freeze.
"Mate," she said before her eyes rolled back.
"Amor!" I shout as I moved forward and caught her before she hit the floor.
I
