| Preston | My body clock woke me up. That was the heaviest night sleep I'd ever had. I'd expected tossing and turning, equal parts uncomfortable sofa, and being so close to Victoria. But instead I'd barely stirred. Awareness of my body and surroundings started to fill in as I awoke further. I felt a pleasant warm weight pressed down on my body and tangled with my legs. “Victoria?” I croaked out. Victoria jerked as she lay, her head on my chest, laying fully on top of me, startling awake. She made a little snuffling sound- just a little bit of drool on my bare skin. “Uh…” she mumbled. “Sorry…” She sleepily slid off me and padded back to her bed- where the covers were completely thrown back from when she joined me in the night.
