**Raven POV**
Luke and his scumbag minion are nowhere to be seen. Hopefully, that means he realizes I won’t ever stop fighting to get away from him. If I have to kill him to protect myself one of these days, so be it.
“Finally growing a pair, I see.” Ruby smiles a very wolfish grin.
I just shake my head. “Could I kill if I needed to?”
“You can. We are stronger than you think.”
I doubt that very much.
Ruby simply whips her tail around and covers her face, peeking through but mainly ignoring me.
After that brief encounter with Aiden yesterday, I haven’t seen or spoken to him since. Yet, that didn’t mean I could shake him out of my mind. I barely made it through the day without being scolded because my thoughts drifted to him and those unforgettable eyes. Our mate.
