**Aiden POV**
Rose cornered me every chance she got when we got home, bugging me with questions. I never bumped back into Raven, and honestly, I am glad. I couldn’t risk it. I think I know what is going on, mulling over Atlas’ draw to her. Her scent is… intoxicating.
Since they used to be such good friends before the attacks, Rose has always been sure Raven was my mate. But things changed; she changed.
According to my sister, Raven was never the same after that night. I suppose losing your only family could do that to you. I couldn’t imagine the pain she’s had to endure all these years. I remember her mother fondly. She was a stunning and kind werewolf. Something always seemed off about her, though, like she was hiding herself. But, I was only young and could never make sense of it.
