Scott’s POV
After spending a few weeks with Elena, I finally realize that she is actually an innocent and gentle soul who doesn’t deserve any of what she’s going through. I was completely wrong about her. I see that now. I regret my previous actions and am now going to make her happy and comfortable.
She won’t need to think about Elijah or the stupid crush she has on him.
Today is our wedding day, the day that seals our fate and I was going to do my best to make this day memorable for her. I would take responsibility like I should have. Perhaps, everyone will finally understand me and not see me as a demon.
“Hey. Join me on the dance floor?” I say to Elena. Although it was a question, it comes out wrongly, making her think I was ordering her to dance with me. f**k me.
