The smell of fresh brewed coffee was as good an alarm clock as any. If not better than any annoying tune designed to rip a person out of their deep sleep. Tara stretched her limbs and moaned low and long as her muscles prepared to get out of bed. She took a deep breath and smiled to herself, with her eyes still closed. She could almost taste it already. The rich strong coffee that woke her senses before it even touched her tongue. Tara made a mental note to thank Olivia for the effort. It wasn’t every day the teenager woke up so generous to make breakfast without being asked repeatedly. Olivia! Tara’s mind screamed as it all came back to her.
