That first week after the change was a very hard week. I had to learn to only feed when I am being offered blood by Greg or Quinn. Then, I had to get caught back up in school. And finally, the least hard thing to face, was that Greg moved in. The boys did not fight that whole week and still haven’t. I am assuming that they settled their differences when I was recovering. That night I was in the living room setting on Greg’s lap and was just listening to the boys, Greg and Quinn, talk like civilized people. Quinn said, “Ivory is looking better. Are you feeling better?” “Yes,” I retorted, in my new silky soft voice, “I feel much better. How are you two feeling, that the week is over? And I have noticed that the two of you aren’t arguing with each other. Why? What did you do?” Gregory answered my questions, after he kissed me, “I am feeling very well. We haven’t’ been arguing because we didn’t want to stress you. And we talked about some things that we both agree on.” Quinn nods and adds, “I am feeling very well. And what he said.” I looked at the two, they looked too innocent, “What did you talk about?” Quinn and Gregory answered together, “Marriage.” Then, Greg kept going, “Quinn was worried I would marry you after you were turned. Then, we had a very heated argument and came to the conclusion that I wouldn’t marry you until you are twenty or older and are ready for marriage.” I nod, “That was sensible and very nice. But by the way, I won’t be ready for a long, long time.”
