“Mom, I'm heading over to Jantrece and Nick's. Don't look for me tonight either, because I'm just going to stay over and will be back Sunday night.”Catalina said as she got up from the table getting ready to leave.

“I'm sorry, but I must be heading out too. I have something I need to take care of dealing with the house and such. It was nice seeing y'all again and looking forward to next time.” Kerian said as he made to get up moments after Catalina did. Catalina was nervous but kept a straight face as she went outside, hearing her family say bye as they kept on eating and talking. When she made it to the front of the house and out the door, well away from everyone in the back, she felt a hard body press close up behind her.

“Have dinner with me tonight.” Kerian whispered in her ear as soon as she stopped frozen in place. Before she could get her answer out or even come out of the shock she felt from the question, he grabbed her earlobe between his teeth and gently nibbled, making her moan before she could stop herself. Kerian smirked, then turned her around to face him and asked her again. “Have dinner with me tonight?”

“Yes.” Catalina whispered as she started into his gorgeous eyes, still in a daze.

“I would say wear something sexy, but what I really would prefer is you with nothing but heels on. Ah hell. While I'm ahead, I may as well do this. Something to think about until tonight.” With that said, Kerian pulled Catalina close and captured her lips in a slow seductive kiss. Without thinking, Catalina wrapped her arms around his neck, wanting more, and Kerian couldn't help but groan against her lips. Before they could get any further, he pulled away as he remembered that they were still in her front yard and her family could come out at any moment.

“Wow.” Catalina breathed out before she could stop herself and Kerian smirked again as he went to get in his car.

“See you tonight at 7:00 Beautiful.” He said as he pulled out of the yard and drove away. Catalina stood there a few minutes more in a daze before she remembered where she was. She got in her car and quickly drove over to her best friends' house as she replayed in her mind what had just happened. Just when she pulled into the yard, a thought hit her. Wait, he was just as affected by that as I was. Hmmm, she thought. Suddenly a plan started forming in her mind and she knew that she had to be brave in order to carry it through.

“About time you got here! I've been waiting for you woman! Well, not really, yeah.” Jantrece said in her dramatic voice, making Catalina laugh.

“Oh, so you're laughing at me now. No worries, we're going shopping so laugh at that. Oh, and Hayden's going with us. My mother finally let me get my own baby on the weekend,” Jantrece said, and then started laughing. Every weekend, her mom gets Hayden and Jantrece misses her because she doesn't get to see her as much as she wants during the week due to things getting busy at work.

“Yayyy! I love spending time with her. Where is she anyway? She normally comes running with a big grin and a hug for me.” Catalina said as she looked around for her.

“Ha! Good luck with that right now. She's with her daddy and you know how she is with him. That sweet little genius has Nick wrapped around her cute little finger.” Jantrece said, still laughing.

“Guess that's good then, because I have to tell you something. I have a date tonight and I need your help.” Catalina looked, waiting for Jantrece's reaction.

“Oh my gosh! With who? Where's he taking you? When did this happen? Do your parents know? Is he sexy?” Jantrece started asking before Catalina could even start answering the first question.

“Whoa, wait! Slow the heck down jeez. I will tell you that it's with Kerian. I don't know where he's taking me. My parents don't know and I want to keep it that way and the other you already know.”

“When and how did this happen?!” Jantrece asked, excited for Catalina. She went into telling Jantrece everything that happened that morning up until that moment.

“Wow. Can't believe I missed all of the action. I bet he was an awesome kisser too. Don't worry, I'm not going to ask no matter how badly I want to. Ummm...feel free to tell me anyway though, seeing that I'm your very best friend in the whole world.” Catalina laughed at that and just when she was about to tell her they heard a cute little voice shouting Catalina's name.

“You look pwretty auntie Cat!” Hayden said as Catalina was sitting getting her make-up done by Jantrece. When they went shopping earlier, Jantrece found for her a tight body-hugging purple dress that comes 3 inches above her knee and has one soft ruffled shoulder. To fit the dress perfectly she now had on a pair of Exagona Metallic Leather 6 inch Louboutin Glitter-Toe pumps and Jantrece was finishing up her make-up now. She chose to give Catalina a little purple over her eyes with nude lipgloss to match up with her hair hanging with her beautiful curls flowing down her back.

“Thank you Sweetpea,” Catalina said as she smiled brightly at Hayden. Just then, the doorbell rang and she started to get nervous.

“Girl, just calm down. You can do this and everything will be perfect. Have fun tonight!” Jantrece said excitedly as she pulled Catalina up and forced her to walk down the stairs to the living room where Kerian was standing talking to Nick. When Catalina's eyes landed on Kerian her mouth came open as she stared at how sexy he looked. He had on a two-piece black suit with a navy blue buttoned down shirt on that had the first four buttons undone, paired with black shoes and his famous black stetson cowboy hat that he never seemed to take off. As she continued to stare, Jantrece came closed Catalina's mouth for her as she grinned at her. Just then Nick noticed them standing there and excused himself to scoop up Hayden and head back upstairs with her to tuck her in bed.

“You look very beautiful tonight, Catalina.” Kerian said with a twinkle in his eyes as he looked her up and down as if undressing her.

“Thank you and might I say that you look very sexy tonight.” Catalina got the courage to say after mentally composing herself. Just then she heard a little squeal and they both turned to see Jantrece looking back and forward at them with a huge grin on her face.

“Oh, don't mind me. Just pretend I'm not here and carry on.” She said, never dropping her huge grin as she waited for them to finish.

“Well, I think that's our time to be leaving. See you later Trecey.” Catalina said, rushing to get out of the house.

“Bye! Have fun and I won't wait up! See you tomorrow!” Jantrece shouted as they were leaving, making Catalina blush at the part of her seeing them tomorrow.

“So, where are we going?” Catalina asked as they drove off as a way to start up a conversation and also to find out because she didn't think to ask earlier.

“You will know in due time, Beautiful,” Kerian said as he smiled at her and kept on driving. Thirty minutes later, they pulled up to this huge building that was the epitome of elegance and looked as if it screamed money. As Kerian got out, he went around and opened Catalina's door, then passed his keys to the valet standing by waiting for them. When they stepped into the building, Catalina gasped. The setting was beautiful with it's rich cream colored walls and high ceiling that had the lighting made into it. The furniture in the lobby looked fancy yet comfortable in a beautiful dark red color with a glass coffee table and matching end tables that had modern lamps on them.

“This is gorgeous Kerian,” Catalina said as she continued to look around, taking everything in. Not everyday does she get to come to a hotel, a fancy one at that.

“Had you in mind when I chose this place,” Kerian said with a smile and a twinkle in his eyes when Catalina started blushing. He led her to the entrance of the dining area where the concierge was standing.

“How may I help you tonight sir?”

“Table for two please. I called and made reservations earlier today.” Kerian said and waited until the concierge checked to confirm, then led them to their table. Once they got seated, a waiter appeared and Kerian proceeded to order them a bottle of Chardonnay to be placed at their table. Soon they fell into light conversation over dinner as Catalina savored every bite of her meal and every sip of her wine loosening up more as the dinner progressed.

“Kerian, I have to tell you something. There was a reason I said yes to dinner tonight.” Catalina said as she waited for his reaction.

“Oh, what was the reason, if I may ask?”

“Well, I've been thinking of that night at the club and the kiss from this morning as well and...” Catalina stopped, trying to figure out a way to say this right.

“And?” Kerian asked, curious as to what she was trying to say, noticing that she had gotten nervous.
