Four Years Ago
Aria's P.O.V
I was dressed into a navy blue dress that stopped above my knees. My hair was in a bun and I put on my flats. I put on my makeup and made sure I had everything ready and done.
Ding Dong
I walked over to the front door and opened it. Beck stood there in a suit similar to what he wore to the party and he had a bouquet of flowers.
"Hi," I smiled.
"Hi. I got you these," Beck said handing me the flowers.
"I love them. Come inside while I put them in a vase," I said. He walked inside and I quickly put the flowers in an empty vase. I walked out to see Beck looking at some pictures.
"You ready?" I asked. He looked at me and smiled.
"Yup."
We walked outside and he opened my door. I got inside and he shut the door. He got on the other side and he drove off.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"We are going to the best restaurant in the city," He smiled.
"Okay."
We went to a fancy restaurant and we walked in. We walked up to the hostess and she smiled at us.
"Hello. How many?" She asked.
"I actually have reservations under Edwards," Beck said.
"Two for Edwards. Right this way," She smiled. We followed her to an empty room with some candles lit and a nice view of the city.
"Wow. This is amazing," I told Beck.
"I was hoping you'd like it. Come on," We sat down at the table and I smiled at him.
"You know, a simple movie date would've been just fine," I said.
"I know but I was raised with a strict mother who told me that movie dates aren't always the best option," He told me.
"I see," I smiled. A waiter came over and he smiled at us.
"Hi. My name is Myles and I will be your waiter for tonight. What can I get you guys to drink?" He asked.
"I'll just take a water," Beck said.
"Me too."
"Okay. I'll be right back with your drinks," He said.
"Thank you," I said.
"So tell me about yourself," Beck said.
"Not much to say. I was born and raised in Pasadena. I went to USC and studied to be a children's doctor," I said.
"A children's doctor?" He asked.
"I love kids. I grew up with younger kids and they helped me with my patience and how to handle them," I said.
"Really?"
"Mhm. Now tell me about you," I said.
"Well, I was born and raised in Hawaii before moving here. I inherited the company from my dad and I've been in the business since then."
"What about the hotel in Vegas?" I asked.
"I wanted to make a hotel so when I go to Vegas, I'd have a whole room to myself and not have to worry about leaving things behind," He said.
"Smart."
"Yeah."
The whole dinner was us getting to know each other until it was time for me to be heading home. Once we've made it at my house, I looked at Beck and smiled softly.
"I had a great time," I said.
"Me too. Do you want to go on another date sometime?" Beck asked nervously.
"Sure," I blushed. We got out and he walked me to my front door. I got out my keys and unlocked the door.
"Text me," I said.
"I will. Bye Aria," He said before giving me a kiss on the cheek. I am a hundred percent sure that my face was red.
"Bye Beck," I said.
