Beck's P.O.V
I sat in my office finishing up signing some paper work until I got a call from my secretary. I pressed the button on my machine and continued to finish my work.
"Yes, Marie?" I asked.
"Sir, your fiancee is here. Should I send her up?" She asked.
"Yeah. Send her up," I said. I tried to finish as much as possible until I heard the elevator dinged. I got up and saw my fiancee walk into my office.
Aria was different than most girls I've been with. She wasn't stuck up or rich. She was an average, independent woman who was shy around people like me. I always thought it was a miracle when she agreed to marry me.
Her brunette hair was curled down, covering her collarbone and part of her spaghetti strapped long dress. Her heels made loud sounds in my quiet office and her bag was in her left arm.
"Aria," I smiled. Aria walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist. I wrapped my arms around her and she looked up at me.
"You ready for our lunch date?" She asked me. My smile dropped while her's soften.
"That's today?" I asked. Aria sighed and pulled away from our embrace.
"You forgot didn't you?" She asked disappointed. Her smile was now gone and she walked over to my desk. She sat down on my chair and looked up at me.
"Sadly. I thought it was on Friday," I said. She looked down at her ring and then at me.
"I promise I will make it up to you," I promised her.
"That's the fifth time you've told me that," She said.
"I'm sorry but I just have a lot of-"
"I know. I know," Aria told me. She got up and gave me a kiss. She walked out of my office making me sigh in frustration. I sat down on my chair and finished up the paper work.
