Celeste and Lily stepped outside to give us some time alone and while I am thankful for it, it has made me terribly nervous.
“Something is wrong,” Molly says softly, looking at the door.
I don’t want to lie to her again, so I just nod slowly. “I know, but I don’t know what. Let’s just enjoy our family for now.”
She nods, holding the newest addition to her chest as he latches right on. I place my arm behind her and kiss the top of her head as Cora and Andrew sit on my lap.
“I want as many kids as you’ll give me,” I say into her head. “And I want to deliver every single one of them. But maybe somewhere safer next time.”
