Where did you think you were going? Scarlett, one of the bullies in Amelia's section college asked. She moved closer to her, kicked her so hard that she hit her butt on the ground.
Wh-What d-did y-you want? What did I do to you? Amelia asked, she tried not to stammer, her eyes full of tears. She has always gotten used to the beating from those girls because she loved Jeff and she was always seen with him.
Didn't I tell you to stay away from him? Scarlett asked again. This time around, she was now with a large plank swinging it with her hand, heading towards Amelia.
Seriously, I don't know what to do right now. She was coming towards me to hit the plank on my head. I feel like I'm going to die in their hands.
They're going to kill me, the only name that came across my mind is Jeffrey. I need him to save me, he's all I have right now.
Die, you b***h, Scarlett Mumbled, staring deadly at her, raising a big plank, about to hit Amelia.
Suddenly I felt a strong hand over my head. It was Jeff. He came to save me.
I quickly ran towards him and hugged him, thanks for coming to my rescue.
He didn't reply, he fixed his gaze on Scarlett and her friends. What are you trying to do? He asked, with a deep tone that made them shiver.
“W-we a-are h-her f-friends”, Scarlett replied with a shaky voice. She was so tense, she stammered while talking to him.
Suddenly, they ran towards the door to escape from Jeff who was already on the verge of shifting.
I stopped him, he was very angry about what I just did. You should have let me teach those girls a lesson.
Please don't, I'm fine now. Thank you for coming to my rescue, she muttered, smiling at him.

Amelia’s POV
I can't believe those bitches tried to kill me, what if Jeff doesn't come to my rescue?
I'm so glad he found me on time, I Mumbled quietly, trying not to be heard by him.
He already knew why they attacked me, he would have injured them badly if he shifted. I'm just glad I stopped him on time.
He had always cared for me, but he didn't know the way I felt about him. He is my childhood friend but I've loved him so much and I can't afford to see another girl with him.
I would be hurt if he wasn't my mate. Holy Goddess, please let Jeff be my mate.
I don't know how to confess my love for him, I don't know how he would react to it.
I just can't afford to lose him, he's all I've got since my parents passed away. He was with me most of the time, he consoled me and always assured me he wouldn't let anything bad happen to me.
The Alpha Denver and Luna Gloria, Jeff's parents, took me in since my parents died of a rogue attack some years ago. They're such Amazing people.

We reached home, I was very stressed due to how Scarlett pushed me. She is such a crazy b***h.
“You know you don't have to do that?” Those bitches deserve it. Jeff said he looked very angry.
“I know, Jeff” but if you shifted and hurt those girls badly, they may be in a terrible situation right now.
“You know they're from the rival pack and if something happens to her, we'll be in trouble”
Luna Gloria, your mom, warned us about that, right?
“Yeah, I know but those bitches got some balls so I decided to teach them a lesson for hurting my best friend” he muttered, heading towards the kitchen to get some water.
I know, right? I chuckled, he looks cute whenever he's angry.
