Rae’s POV When I was a kid, and they asked you what you wanted to be, I was the typical little girl, I wanted to help people. I was no good with blood or sickness. I didn’t want to be a nurse or a doctor, I wanted to make them happy, protect them. I didn’t know then what that job would be, but they told me I could be a counsellor, psychologist or social worker. I wasn’t the smartest child, but I worked hard, and my grades were decent. Jude, my twin brother, was the smart one. He was going to be a doctor.
