Rae’s POV
I felt like a complete i***t. He waltzed right up to me and held me in his strong and comforting arms and melted into his rock-hard chest, my tears spilling down the ridges of his toned muscles.
“Rae, I’m sorry, did we…”
“No, no, stop. You didn’t do anything wrong! I am being silly”, I sniffled as I dragged myself away from him. I wondered how anybody got anything done when they found their mate, we hadn’t even completed the bonding process and I struggled to prize myself away from him when we were so close. “I just, I just had such an amazing time and it made me realise what I was missing by not having a wolf.
