I looked behind me and Kenzo and Lottie had halted at our territories end.
‘Avery, what the hell are you doing? Get your ass back here. This is dangerous.’ Lottie was clearly pissed.
‘Didn’t you see…’ I tried to reason with her.
‘No’. Kenzo’s deep and even voice was clear and calm. ‘You are no longer on our territory Avery. Lottie is right, it’s dangerous. Come back, we have a lot to discuss.’
