Malachi’s POV
She looked a little bashful,as she stood in front of me, and she could barely look me in the eye. I was beginning to worry a little, but in the corner of my eye I could see she was holding something in her hand.
“Um, yeah, here” she said, handing me back the t-shirt I had left with her a few nights ago. “I never said thank you” she blushed a little “It helped me sleep” she added, unable to look me in the eye.
I held her chin and gently tilted it up so she was looking at me as the sparks shot through me, knowing she could feel it too. “Keep it.” I smiled “I took one of yours.” I admitted, reaching into the back of my truck to hand it back to her.
“It doesn’t have your scent on it anymore” she said, a little awkwardly.
My heart burst and I wanted to wrap her in my arms
