The White Rose

1. June 19th - As the flowers bloom

We walked through the halls towards the main chamber, we arrived and the elder sisters were waiting for us. After a few seconds we entered, I noticed that Sophia was nervous, she had never seen the elder sisters, she joined the squad just a few months before, after Kamala got injured and I had been training her ever since. I remember my first time meeting the elder sisters, I was so excited and honored to be blessed by the presence of such powerful women.

First elder sister asked me to get closer and as I walked towards her, I turned around and wink at Sofia, as she saw my face she seemed to relax. Seventh elder sister told me that there had been attacks in the northern part of Valkya and that we had to go investigate what was attacking the peaceful families that lived there. They gave me their blessing and a white key with a note that said - May your future bloom like the rose- I immediately understood the importance of the assignment and left the chamber.

The other sisters didn’t ask anything, they know the protocol, I only tell them the information they need and they follow my orders without any excepcion. I walked towards the plane, we all prepared for takeoff, the trip shouldn't take more than 4 hours to the North, we landed in a town called Shantya which seemed to be a very peaceful town.

We landed at exactly 18:05 I told the sisters to get in formation and the mission started. At first glance it appeared as if the town had nothing interesting but after a few minutes, when the sun started to set, well trained dogs started to attack the children in the town, as if somebody had sent them there knowing exactly what to look for. We prepare and atacked, killing dogs is easy, I grabbed my katana and got rid of every flesh eating dog. My sisters saved the children and Hanna started sewing and curing them, she clearly is the best doctor there is in all of the Rose order.

I told Sophia to accompany me, the mission had not ended, we must find the rightful owner of the key. We searched house by house until we found a little girl prepared to defend herself from the dogs. She had a kitchen knife in one hand and a pot in the other, I knew it had to be her, the owner of the key. I walked up to her and stretched my hand - Here, this belongs to you, sorry it took so much time for us to come and find you little sister - The little girl grabbed the key and looked at me with fear, even for a six years old girl, it is well known what a key from de rose order represents. She had aced her abilities and psychological test and was now part of a new family. I told Sophia to grab the girl and take her to the plane with extreme caution, it seemed to me that it was very likely that the dogs were sent to hunt her.

I left a note in case the girl had a family. Grabbed the knife she had on her hand and left. While walking towards the plane I felt someone staring at me from a window, funny as it may seem I'm not quite used to being stared at, people usually bend their head in respect or fear. I stared back and our eyes met, he seemed to be a young man. He quickly turned around and that strange moment disappeared. I continued working when suddenly I saw someone standing in front of me, it's the same guy, who really doesn't seem to know the code. -Whats your name ?- he asked with no hesitation, I didn’t think giving my name to a civilian would have any purpose, but his boldness intrigued me - Amelia, Prime of the white rose squad - I answered. Our eyes seemed to be hypnotized with each other, my body couldn’t move but at the same time my heart was beating so fast I felt as if he would be able to hear it. I tried to calm down, breathe slower and lower my heart beat. - Can I get to know you ?- What type of question is that, he seemed like a really weird person, still I felt a certain interest for him. - You can try - I answered, a little bit presumptuous.

I walked right by him, not even giving him a stare back. But still, my eyes begged me to turn around to see his dashing black hair and big eyes. I restrained myself from turning around and arrived at the plane. I wonder what all that was about. It wasn’t worth thinking about it any longer, it is better to concentrate on the relevant things. I turn around and ask the little girl her name - Savannah - se answers, - well Savannah, welcome to the family, you will never fill defenseless again - as a say this words I reached for her hand and gave her the knife - this will be your weapon of choice, it will now be your best friend and you will treat it with respect - she nods her head and we left towards the academy.
