Victor Veronica lets me go some time later and I head straight to my old room. The air inside is fresh and the covers look freshly changed, thanks to the omegas working tirelessly day and night to make me feel at home. I have been back in Redwind for almost four days now and I haven’t slept here for neither of them. That first night after Ian sent me away I roamed the woods all night, trying to find my peace, and after that I spent my time with him. And now, when he practically told me to f**k off, I have no idea what to do. I look around the familiar space, just like I did the first night, trying to reconnect with it but just like then, I fail. It does not feel like home anymore. No place does. As I undress, leaving a trail of clothes on the floor, I try not to beat myself up too much
