“What’s the hurry, mom? Can’t you wait till I finish my studies?” asked Raven, coming to her senses.
“Bella’s keen on this, Raven. I don’t want you to argue with me. You can continue with your studies even after your wedding. I’m waiting for you to come home before Saturday. There’s no need to stay there for so many days. Your wedding’s more important than your friend’s.“
Raven was totally confused. “I’ll try to come earlier, but I can’t promise,” she said, warily.
