Ezekiel’s pov
I will admit that I felt slightly cornered after Bart had told us everything he knew, and everyone was looking at me to stand up and do something. I still wasn’t comfortable with the whole thing, and I was afraid about what people would think of me.
Unfortunately, I knew that were right about it, and if Cassie was able to stand so strongly against her mate and his awful lover, then I suppose I could as well. I did respect Cassie for what she had done. It must have taken a lot of strength to call them out so publicity.
“I promise I will be next to you the whole time” Lilith tells me, squeezing my hand in comfort.
“This better get me bonus points” I say, only half joking.
“It will, I will take you to our families special spot for a date and a surprise” Lilith
