Lilith’s pov
I was really proud of Ezekiel. He stepped up when he needed to and made Jurrel understand that Suzanne had to pay for what she did to them. For someone who didn’t want anyone to know at first, he did a great job of saying his truth.
The thought of losing his family and knowing that someone much more powerful than him had also been a target of hers, gave Jurrel the courage to stand up and tell the council what had happened to him and his beloved.
Each other person we spoke to knew that Ezekiel and Jurrel would be speaking out against her, and it gave them the courage to do the same. Her friends talked easily and drank the potion to prove their innocence, even if they did keep their mouths shut at first.
