Chapter 8
Ezekiel’s pov
It feels like my father has been away for several hours and not just one. I am on edge worried that things will go wrong and then she won’t come. I think that both Lucifer and I would lose our minds if he came without her.
I plan to stay out of the way when she comes. I need to let her settle in, and I know that I will see her at dinner as my family always eats together when we are all here. As soon as I smell her scent, I go down into the dungeons.
It is the only place I can go where her scent won’t drive me crazy enough that I track her down, or Lucifer takes over and forces a shift to hunt his mate. I don’t think she would be impressed with either of those scenarios.
I spend my time checking in on our residents, making sure that they are paying for the crim
