DIMITRI'S POV
Some stupid girl calls Remide a slut. Damn humans. Remide runs out of the cafeteria. I find her leaning against a set of lockers having a panic attack. Scooping her up in my arms I mind-link Aaron to get the car.
"Take us home." I say to my beta.
He throws his head back in joy and says "About f*****g time."
He peels out of the parking lot. I am in the back holding Remide in my arms. She has caught her breath and is quietly staring out the window. The silence is deafening.
I finally say "You okay babe?"
She nods
"Anything I can do?" I stroke her hair as she leans on the window.
She shakes her head no.
"If you need to talk Kitten this isn't just a s****l relationship. I am here for you."
Tears stream down her face. I wipe them away and lightly peck her lips.
