The Gammas didn't entirely f**k things up over the 3 days I was gone. There were some abnormal portal readings in vampire territory they did not let me know about. A few inter-pack squabbles and some minor punishments for insubordination. One young wolf tried to post an official challenge for the Alpha title but resigned it the moment he heard about Alpha Oren. That one made me chuckle.
After arranging for some witches to monitor the portals I open the envelope on my desk labeled LUNA. I read the letter. Shock, disappointment, and heartache all radiate through my body.
No surname Line registered in any pack
If she isn't Remide Line, then who is she? Who am I mated to? Who is sitting in the most secure and sacred room of the pack? Who do I love?
