I hesitated before opening the book. I wondered what kind of information I would meet in there. I wondered if I would finally get to know why my parents died.
My hands trembled a bit as I opened to the first page and like I had seen before, my parent's names, my little brother's name and mine were all written in there.
My eyes ran over the words carefully.
They were called traitors who colluded with the easterners when we were at war.
And right here in the book, they were said to have been beheaded as punishment which was not true at all!
My family were murdered in the middle of the night. All of the words written in this book were lies!
None of my family members were traitors! I felt my heart tighten as I tried not to think about that night.
