Soraya's POV
The distance from Lichen to Evergreen pack was longer than I remembered, but I realized that was probably because I had been very distracted during that trip, thinking of everything that had happened at the convention. This time though, I was mindful, discussing with Bella as I drove.
The rumbling of my stomach came again, and I glanced at Bella who was in the same situation. We didn't bother to have breakfast because we had left so early, but after a few hours on the road, the hunger pangs were nearly tearing my intestines apart.
We resolved to stop and get some food at the next restaurant we saw, and once we caught sight of one, I parked the car in the driveway and we both walked in to have some food before continuing on our journey.
