Soraya's POV
I had a fitful sleep, tossing and turning through the night until I gave myself a headache. Eventually, I gave up and just laid in bed staring at the ceiling and wishing for dawn to come quicker. The events of the hunting convention still haunted me, and wouldn't go away no matter how much I tried. When I couldn't take it anymore, I busied myself by packing up the small duffel bag I had brought with me. After my belongings were all in place, I lounged on an ottoman and stared out the window to distract myself.
At first light of dawn, I awakened Bella by tapping her shoulder lightly. She shot up from bed instantly, wiping the sleep out of her eyes and looking up at me. "Are you okay? I heard you moving around last night."
"I am. We have to go."
