"You came earlier than expected," I said.
"I finished what I was doing, so I decided to come." His french accent was very strong.
Lucas has arrived from Washington. When we talked three days ago he said he was coming next week, but he surprised us.
"Have a seat please, " I point to the sofa that is in my office." you must be tired from the flight."
"I will survive," he tells me.
"We can't discuss anything now without Merrick, he is a part of this too so we have to wait for him," I voice out.
"Where is he by the way? I tried to reach him before I called you but I couldn't,"
"He is at his place probably, I am not sure."
He raises an eyebrow at me, "what do you mean by you are not sure, he is your husband."
"He is not, we have been divorced for about a month now," I say
