As soon as Liam reached Miller Corporation, he called Jake to report to his office. Suddenly, Mike barged in.
“Liam, what were you doing at Hannah's house yesterday? She was going with me on a movie date. She has already divorced you. Why don't you stay away from her?” His voice was sharp and accusing.
Liam remained calm, which only seemed to irritate Mike more. He closed the gap between them and grabbed Liam's collar. “Liam, she has given you the divorce. You two are no longer together. Let me give her the life and happiness she deserves. She definitely doesn’t deserve a bastard like you.”
Liam’s calmness vanished. He pushed Mike away, causing Mike to stumble but he regained his balance. He straightened up, dusted off his clothes, and grabbed Liam's collar again
